CONSULTATION

The first step is to schedule a free 30 minute phone consultation with you. We will review our solar solution, process and review your utility bill to see if you quality.

DESIGN AND

ANALYSIS

Once the signup process is complete we will schedule a site survey. Our onsite design team will then take roof measurements and other details for permitting.

ENGINEERING AND PERMITTING

Once we complete your custom designed solar system we will submit the plans to your local permitting office for their approval. The approval process typically takes 1-4 weeks.

SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION

Our insured and certified install partner will take care of the rest. Installation usually takes less than a day to complete. )

Upon a recommendation from a knowledgeable friend, we contacted Solar365 RGV Center to come to our home and give us an estimate on installing a bank of panels. A solar rep showed up at the agreed appointment time and after studying our situation gave us an estimate within a few days. After considering the estimate we decided to go ahead and install a 4 kw system for starters. We were given a start installation date and on that date the installers showed up and began installation.

THIS IS HOW A SOLAR SYSTEM WORK

CAPTURE

A solar panel contains crystalline photovoltaic (PV) cells. Anytime the sun is shining, the cells capture energy from the sun in the form of photons. This causes a chemical reaction within the cells and releases electrons to produce direct current or “DC” electricity. The next step is to convert DC to AC.

CONVERT

Homes and businesses run on alternating current or “AC” electricity. So the DC electricity produced by the solar system must be converted to AC before it can be used. This is done with an inverter which receives all of the DC electricity from the solar panels and coverts it to useable electricity.

POWER

Once we have usable AC Electricity, The inverter sends it to the electrical panel for distribution throughout the property. Now all of the appliances, gadgets, toys and everything else that requires electricity gets it directly from unlimited, clean solar power?

TRANSMIT

On an average day, a solar system will likely produce more energy than will normally be used in the daytime. Any surplus electricity which is not used is sent back to the local utility through the grid. This surplus electricity helps the local utility provide electricity to the grid and in most cases, credits are disbursed for all the surplus electricity accumulated.
